Tanjore K. Praveen Kumar

K.Praveen Kumar hails from a family of great musicians. He is the grandson of Mridangam Mastro Late Tanjore Sri Upendran and is a disciple of Kalaimamani Guruvayur Sri Dorai. He started learning the art of percussion at the age of 5 and began performing concerts from the age of 8. He has won many awards and has performed in all leading sabhas in India and abroad. Praveen Kumar also runs an Indo-fusion band -'SPARSH' which does contemporary fusion music. He is persuing 2nd year Electronics and Commnunication Engineering at MNM Jain Engineering College Under Anna University.
