H.N. Bhaskar was first trained by his parents Sri H.K. Narasimha Murthy and Smt. H.N. Rajalakshmi. Now he is a disciple of violin maestro Padmashri Sangeetha Kalanidhi Sri M.S. Gopalakrishnan.
His first public performance was at the age of eight. He has given solo performances and accompanied several Senior musicians like Sri T.V. Gopalakrishnan, Sri T.N. Seshagopalan, Dr N. Ramani, Sri Mandolin Srinivas, Smt. Sudha Ragunathan, Smt. Aruna Sairam.
He has received many awards including the BEST VIOLINIST award from the Music Academy of Chennai during Music Festival in 2003. He has traveled widely all over the world for performances.
He has a melodious style of playing which has made him a popular accompanist for many leading vocalists.




This concert of T.M. Krishna was reminiscent of the early days of his career. Gayatri Girish was a picture of poise.
